I love the wayside Cafe. They have a very nice breakfast and a huge menu, so you can get whatever you are craving. Good service and friendly help.

Wayside, at one time, was a great little roadside cafe. Many changes in ownership and management and now, it's just another rundown dump! The bench seats sag, have uncomfortable bumps or rips that have been taped. The carpet is so old and worn, it's thread bare in spots. The food is less than mediocre and a waste of $$. My med-rare steak was ready for the shoe factory, dry, tough and over cooked. My baked potato was overcooked but, so cold the single pat of butter wouldn't melt. Limp, over cooked canned vegetable medley rounded out the meal. The waitress acted like we were interrupting her evening and couldn't wait to get us out so, we left without dessert! This used to be a weekly spot for our group but now it's just a spot that we USED TO GO to.
