As a long-time patron of this establishment, I can attest to the exceptional quality of their pasties. The savory flavors and buttery dough have consistently impressed me over the years. If you're in the Grass Valley area and craving a delicious, budget-friendly meal, give this place a try for a taste of local tradition.

This is the last place to find a Pasties in our area. Marshall's has made pasties since I was a kid along with several other places in our area. Cornish Pasties are a hardy mouthwatering meal all in a neat exquisite dough that is the best of pie-type dough flaky and good. This will fill you up! You will feel healthy, you will feel warm inside and you will want to experience a Marshall's pasty again. The Cornish Miners brought this over to our country and it is hard for me to believe that more places do not make pasties. I have not found pasties anywhere else, I have traveled quite far and i have looked for pasties close around here in neighboring towns and only in Grass Valley have I found them and thankfully I grew up here. We have lost a lot through the past two years (2020/2021) we have also lost our small businesses throughout the state and throughout the country. If I could make a pasty myself I would but I still would want to buy from our local places before they all close down. I cannot imagine Grass Valley without Cornish pasties, can you? I was horrified when my sister told me that several of the pasties shops had went out of business. I wanted to run home and open one myself but I do not know how to make Pasties. Marshalls sold pasties at my high school or maybe it was just hot lunch at a local school but they have been around a long time please know these unique treats are so worth keeping. I would love to invest in a second shop for you or just in your main shop but you would have to teach me how make the pasties! I adore your food and for keeping it real Cornish that is why you are still here and the others are not. modern flavors did not help the other guys(pizza pasty?), keep it authentic and you will survive.
