Our go-to Chinese restaurant in the area serves above-average food; my favorite is the General Tso Chicken combo with fried rice and a spring roll. While the General Tso is good, it doesn't surpass the best I've had, but it satisfies my cravings. The steamed dumplings with dumpling sauce are a highlight, and the service has always been good with hot and ready food for pickup.

Consistent and high-quality traditional Chinese-American fare. Owners are great. The wait to pick it up is usually reasonable.

Tonight I did takeout from Chinatown in Canton Ct.. My spareribs were tasteless, dried out. The wonton soup was definitely not chicken broth perhaps veggie, it was dark. The wontons in the soup were made of such thick dough I had trouble getting through them with a spoon. I just took a bite of my eggroll which was pretty good but there was no duck sauce, which is always included in Chinese takeout. I spent $24 in all and will not return there even though I live 2 minutes from the restaurant. We have several asian restaurants in the valley and I have eaten at them all, Chinatown is the only one I have permanently crossed off my list. If you live in the Farming ton Valley, please don't support less than mediocre food!
