i LOVE somethings fishy! they do take out orders now. and sunday-thursday is half off sushi! the price is VERY reasonable for the amount youre getting.

I had dinner this past tuesday night, and it was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. Our server (Kristina I think) gave our group attentive, quick service with a great attitude. The food tasted great, and the show was fun, but it was the service that really stood out here.

This restaurant is one of the best experiences I had while in Santa Barbara! The sushi is very good (especially during the afternoon while it's half-priced), but the main attraction here is the open grill hibachi entrees! The chefs are extremely skilled and cook your food right in front of you in an artful, theatrical display. Whether you are with your family, friends, or would like to impress a date, Something's Fishy will be a great place to eat.

Going to this restaurant was a BIG mistake. Service was absolutely HORRIBLE, the hostess/waitress gave us the worst attitude I've ever seen. The whole place smelled like canned tuna and burned oil. The food gave me an upset stomach for the rest of the day. The shrimp tasted like rubber, it seemed it's been frozen and defrosted at least a couple of times. The food might have been bearable, but the service was so bad that I will never go to this restaurant again.

Despite the unappealing name, the sushi is actually pretty good. it's a fun place to gather for some 1/2 price sushi and some sake-bombs or go for a birthday or with a bunch of friends. It can get a little packed so reservations help.
