These folks put together a wonderful sandwich tray for my school. It was one of the most beautiful and also yummy trays I have seen. The delivery was on time and the driver was very helpful. I just can't say enough good things about 17th St Deli Downtown!

The 17th Street Deli is now under new ownership (since late Oct. 09). Now offering four to five soups daily, a new expansive menu, very fast delivery times (especially to PPD), breakfast starting at 8am, and much more. We're dedicated to making your experience with us a great one.

I have never gotten my food so fast from take out. And the delivery girl -I think her name is Shannon- is so sweet and timely. She is also pretty.

i HAVE ALWAYS HAD GOOD FOOD AND TIMELY DELIVERY FROM 17TH ST DELI. THE BREAD IS GOOD, THE FILLINGS ARE GOOD AND THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY.
THEY DO GET EXTREMELY BUSY AT NOONTIME ... SO IF YOU WANT FOOD THEN, ORDER IN ADVANCE. DON'T WAIT UNTIL 12 .

NEVER ORDER DELIVERY !!!!!!!! IT HAS TAKEN OVER 1.5HRS TO DELIVER 2 SANDWICHES !!! RIDICULOUS, I ORDERED AT 11AM PLENTY OF TIME FOR 2 SANDWICHES TO BE READY !!!!!!

The service for this deli has gone completely downhill. The company I work for provides the majority of their income so you would think that they would take the time to make the orders correct. Also, they don't bring change and you have to hope that what is on the menu appears in your lunch. You should never have to ask for something that is stated to already be on the sandwich. And don't bother asking to speak to a Manager, they will just try and get you off the phone. If they don't have enough staff to deliver to us in a timely and accurate fashion, hire more people!! Oh, and I'm pretty sure they charge you a delivery fee so I wouldn't worry about tipping especially since they rarely have change anyways. And if you use a card, they have taken all of your information including your street address and 3 digit security code and zip cide so make sure to take that copy from them, it has ID theft written all over it!!!!!!

A coworker and I ordered delivery from here today and they informed us that they were a little behind but the food would be here in at least a half an hour. So about an hour goes by and NOTHING. So I called and was informed "something had happened at the courthouse" and it should be here any minute becasue the delivery person had been held up. So another 30 min goes by and we called again, he said the delivery person was HERE, however I had not been called yet. So we walked downstairs about 10 minutes later and she was here but we wondered why we hadn't been called yet. So we asked her what happened at the courthouse expecting it to be some big deal and said "they didn't have their money ready"...sorry but this is NOT an explanation of why our food was almost 2 hours when the two locations are within blocks of each other. And to make it even better, my friends shrimp salad made with mayo had been at the courthouse for an hour! Her "fresh fruit" was fresh out of a CAN and she was stiffed on the bread and the dressing she was supposed to receive with the order. Who ever said they have wonderful fresh fruit obviously doesn't know what "fresh" means. Canned peaches are by far fresh. So we called back again for the 3rd time and she let them know how unhappy she was and he said he would send bread...that is not a good way to compensate for a delivery that was 2 hours late and missing items. I used to like them but now I feel like they are just cheap and unprofessional.

Absolutely awesome!!! You have got to try this place. Fresh, fresh, fresh! Best chicken salad ever...don't tell my Mom. Homemade cakes like Grandma's. This is a true southern style family deli that makes Wilmington proud!

For the price you pay, you'd figure you get more. Maybe it's because I'm from NY where we have real deli's, so the little food you get is rather disappointing from this so-called "deli."

I can't really rate the atmosphere since I've only had it delivered to work.

Great place to eat, relax, and to give your taste buds exactly what they want. I eat here everyday and the food never gets old to me. The shrimp salad is the best ever!

The tuna fish salad is my fav! Put it on some honey wheat bread and you have a healthy lunch that tastes great!

I have found my new favorite lunch place! Thanks for delivery. Everything I have eaten from here has been amazing. The chicken salad is awesome & the homemade cakes are so yummy!!!

I went to eat their the other day, and the food and
employees are friendly,and very helpful.
The food is the best in town. I also noticed that they have made the winners circle which means that they have items from their menu that are healthy and low in calories. The owner and her children are very friendly. I will always go out of my way to eat there. I suggest that all that read this eat there. There salads are always fresh||||||.

I wanted a sandwich but ended up with a salad because they all sounded so mouth-watering. They were true to their description. The fruit and vegetables are extremely fresh, their salads (shrimp, tuna, and chicken) are made fresh daily, you can taste it. The shrimp salad has just the right amount of fresh thyme, parsley and red onion. Excellent!!!!!!
