The food and service at this restaurant are truly exceptional, making it worth a visit despite the outdated decor. The pork cheeks and shrimp martini for starters were phenomenal, and the main dishes of stuffed quail and scallops were fresh and delicious. Don't miss the locally made blood orange and salted caramel ice cream for dessert, and the attentive staff will ensure you have a fantastic dining experience.

Went to this place thinking it was going to be dead, cause when me and my friends got there we were pretty much the only ones in the bar area. The guy working the bar told us that it would be busy to the walls in about an hour. My girlfriends and I were like ya right! He was really nice and funny. He said he was getting all he joking out now because later he wouldn't able to joke around as much, He wasn't kidding.It got busy quick!!! would definitely go back and tell all my friends too.

Whoever the bar manger is joee should reallly consider a new profession, never in my life have I been disrespected the way I was the other night, terrible service not to mention cocky for what reason, ur a bar manager ur not worth anything

The reviews were great for South Beach so I thought I would try it and it was terrible. The service was slow and awful and the food was mediocre at best. If this is the best seafood Wilmington has to offer, I'd save your money and get a burger.

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant because we had a coupon. Both of us were quite pleased with the service & food. Our waiter was attentive and helpful and the food was outstanding: boyfriend had scallops, I got the rockfish. Wow! Quite large portions that were artfully presented and utterly delicious. We tried the wonton trio as an appetizer: tasty and playful on a bed of fried spinach that was a yummy & gorgeous garnish. Great drink specials & they have a bar menu. Definitely check it out (there's even parking next to the restaurant!).

Steak was tough, not eatable. Waiter didn't want to return it. Told us, that it is our own fault, since we wanted "well done".
Salad my friend ordered was nothing but some greens.

Save your money and go to a REAL restaurant.

our dinner was awesome.. everything is made that day and was very fresh.. the chef even came out to make sure he got my specific request correct.

highly recommend their desserts.. homemade cheesecake was amazing!!!

Food was great! Wonderful King Mackerel, wonderful shrimp and sweet potato begnets. Service could be more attentive and the room needs to be remodeled to fit the quality of the food. Would recommend the kitchen and chef to anyone.

Doesn't look like much on the outside but inside is nice. Great pecan crusted sea bass. Good service. Won the meal on the radio - Glad we went - it was nice.
