Whitecourt offers a limited selection of restaurants, particularly those that are independently owned. I recently dined at Mountain Pizza, a restaurant that may benefit from a modern update but still provides a friendly service and decently priced menu items such as the New York Strip steak and baked potato. The French Onion soup had a rich flavor despite its messy presentation, and the hearty lasagna was a favorite among my dining companions. If you enjoy a satisfying steak or classic Italian dishes, Mountain Pizza is worth a visit in Whitecourt.
