I've been going to Catfish Kitchen since I was a boy. My parents would take me on Friday Nights. It was something we always looked forward to as a family. It was sad to see them close after all these years. They always had the best Catfish and made there own hush puppies, pickled tomatoes, and coleslaw. They always made you feel welcomed when you walked in with there homestyle southern hospitality. I'm sure I'm not the only person in the neighborhood that misses this place. When Catfish Kitchen closed its doors, it was a big loss to the old neighborhood. Sad to see that now a days all there is in that area is just taco stands on every corner.
