We revisited La Casita in Mammoth after many years and were pleasantly surprised by the service and atmosphere. The combination plates we ordered had delicious red chile burros, with the taco and chili rellano standing out as favorites. Despite a disappointing tamale, the overall dining experience was enjoyable and we left with clean plates. The restaurant's larger interior, friendly staff, and fair prices make it a worthy choice for a Mexican meal.

Red chili burro with meat was small, over priced and very saucy, the burro was like a banana peel that would flop over because of lack of meat. The chili tasted like spiced sauce from a can. Service for out of people need to improve. Both of us were very disappointed. 😞

stopped by not knowing anything about the place ...we were plesantly supprised by how good the food was and the fast and courteous service ...would definately go again
