My girlfriend and I went to Agave for dinner and were seated in a booth by a waitress. Just three minutes later, an older lady-one of the owners-came to our table and told us we had to move to a table for two located at the end of the bar, right in a high-traffic area.

She explained that this table could only be occupied by a minimum of three people.
the restaurant was not full and there were several tables not seated. The owner's demeanor was rude, and she clearly needs to learn some manners. I would rather eat at Taco Bell than set foot in Agave Restaurant

I have been on vacation in St Pete for a week. My wife and I couldn't wait to go back to this restaurant. We ate here twice for lunch. Outstanding service from the young ladies and food was just as good. Forget about the excellent margaritas. I can't imagine anyone giving this restaurant 5+ stars.

Agave had great Mexican cuisine that the family enjoyed. The staff was friendly and atmosphere was quaint. As a family this was so far the most enjoyable and relaxed dining we've had on our vacation.

Years ago, I would have given Agave 4-5 stats but they have declined and since they changed their location, they have gotten worse. How so? Rude wait staff, too crowded since they downsized, drinks are not worth the prices. More importantly, there are so many Mexican Restaurants in the area that are much more authentic! Our no frills favorite, with delicious authentic food is Casita Taquerí­a and there are several locations. We usually go to the one on Central Ave.

Best Steak Tacos in St Pete's Beach. I'm from Los Angeles, and know an authentic street taco when I taste one. The only drawback is they are very busy on weekends after 5p, so get there early

I went to Agave for take out last night for 1st time. It was a busy Friday at around 7:45p. I was told "We aren't serving anymore". I replied it was 1st and last time in their restaurant, and I would write a bad review. Here I am.

Horrible customer service. Disgusting food. The owner was incredibly rude and then they added extra charges on my card. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Literally anywhere else! Check out FoCheezy or woodys instead. Do not waste your money. 🤢
