Craving Mexican food, my partner and I decided to try this restaurant conveniently located near our home. Despite its slightly dated exterior, the ample parking made finding a space hassle-free. The friendly hostess offered us a variety of seating options, and we opted for the bar area. The extensive menu offered many enticing selections, and I thoroughly enjoyed the creamy white enchiladas paired with a frosty Modelo beer. While the sticky bar was a minor inconvenience, we look forward to returning post-renovation for a potentially improved experience.

o, my family and I have been going to this restaurant for years. As the children got older they started going on their own. Most recently we have noticed a marked negative change in the presentation and taste of the good as well as a hike in prices. We kept on going because of the staff, the cuisine (especially spicy dishes) and the location. We skipped several months because of COVID etc.
A couple months ago (yes, it took me a while to write this review as I wanted to ensure that I was not primarily, emotional motived0. On our LAST/FINAL/WILL NOT RETURN visit we were served an unpalatable dish. I asked the server to take it away as my guest will not be eating it. I never asked for a replacement (as she was turned off eating), nor did I asked for the cost to be removed. The server was inexperienced and way over her head to be handling a party of 9 so we just figured that it was a wash. We were already annoyed by the entire dining experience so far.
The server told the "manager" and she came over. With a bad attitude no less. Without us asking, she promptly informed us that we will need to pay for the dish, and it can only be replaced by the same offering. I was shocked and outraged by her attitude and unprofessional behavior so, I asked to speak with her supervisor. That is when she proudly (Sarcasm is not a strong enough word here) informed me that she was also the General Manager and the owner. (I was later told that she is the owner's sister). Suffice it to say that she was VERY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, CLASSLESS, AND AN EMBARRASMENT to her profession, and a tremendous liability to that establishment. I also had the unfortunate misfortune to interact with the "owner's nephew" possibly her son when I asked for the uncle/owner's contact info. He was nasty and had no place in the ''front of store" position he so proudly owned.
The entire experience was very disheartening to say the least, and I feel sorry for the loyal employees who have worked so far over the years to foster a good image and reputation for that establishment. At least Nine of us will NEVER return there.
