Just ate there tonight for the first time.
Small place overlooking the ocean off of A1A in Flagler Beach.
Service started off great with three separate people coming to the table asking us if we wanted drinks, kind of went downhill after that.
We didn't see our waitress after the appetizers came out and she took our meal order.
Starters - New England clam chowder and shrimp cocktail.
Both we delicious with the clam chowder being packed with clams, not as creamy an actual New England clam chowder, but still good.
Entrees- Honey glazed salmon and shrimp piccata.
Salmon was cooked well and had a nice flavor. One of the sides never came out and since our waitress disappeared, we had to flag someone else to get it after the other party had already finished their meal.
Shrimp piccata was extremely salty. I would imagine that they did not drain and wash some of the salt off of the capers before adding them to the dish, but the linguine was undercooked and there was no lemon or actual taste to the dish"¦.other than salt. This was one of the specials for $19.95.
All in all, it was an ok experience. Since there are many restaurants along the A1A strip, we most likely will not frequent this establishment again, the prices do not match the quality that comes out.
At least we can say we tried it!

I have been looking forward to going there for ages. Got there early and ordered coffee but waitress never asked us if we wanted a refill (we were there almost two hrs). Ordered burger med. rare and it was well-done and the bun was huge and tough. My bill was $13.00 for small burger and one coffee. Very disappointed because I heard their food was good, but both service and food (none of the 5 of us was crazy about our food) was poor.

We used to dine here alot over the years and loved it. Things have changed, and not for the better over the past year or so. Hamburgers, fried shrimp and chicken salad, which used to be great, are just so-so. Rather than change quality, perhaps adding $1.00 or so to the price is the better way to go.
