I've been hitting up Chu's for years, and the food is always a winner, especially the sesame chicken and BBQ pork. The staff is super friendly, and even when it's busy, they keep the service quick and the tea flowing.

Used to just go to the bar to play a little VP, had never tried the food till like 8 months ago and it exceeded my expectations X 2! I love the shrimp fried rice, BBQ Pork, Greenbean Chicken. Beef & Broccoli and the egg flower soup is delicious.
Plus this place is never a long wait. . I've never waited more than 15 minutes to go pick up my food.

Thank you to the employees and cooks you guys do are doing amazing. I appreciate you 💯🙏

Some time ago I and a group of people had a less than memorable experience at Chu's. The quality of food was never in question I just had issues with the service. I have been back three other times and I'm happy to report that all is good and I remove any objections I previously expressed.

Service was nonexistent it actually took longer to be served the check than it did to drive to the restaurant order and eat the meal. When the food came they must have been worried that it might be cold so they slapped our dinners in the microwave and nuked the hell out of them, leavening our dinners too hot to eat.

This is the Chinese food you remember as a kid. Crab puffs are the best, egg rolls are crisp & great tasting, BBQ pork is tender, pork fried rice is flavorful, chow meins are full of veggies cooked just right. I've been coming back for more for over 25 years. There aren't many place like this 'old school' Chinese left in Portland. I hope this one stays on the map for a long time to come!

I love this restaurant. The owner is the nicest lady I have ever come across in customer service! I have always been treated fantastic when I go in and the food is fabulous. Nothing but great things to say about Chu's!

Chu's does have consistently good food; the crab puffs are the best!!! The one thing I'm glad they are slowly getting rid of is some of their older wait staff who can be very crabby. I love the CRAB PUFFS and their fried shrimp...mmmm, so good!

This is where we go when we want Chinese food in far SE Portland-Gresham. Others we know do as well. The food is consistently good with quality ingredients. The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable ... a good value.
