Two days before Christmas, I visited a popular donut shop known for its amazing selection. Despite the line, the quick and friendly service made the experience enjoyable, and I particularly loved the maple donut for its fluffy texture.

If you enjoy being "held up" without a weapon,by all means buy donuts at Allie's Donuts. They are now charging $2.50 per donut!!!!! Do you have to mortgage your house to buy a dozen !.The product may taste good,but the owner must be laughing all the way to the bank at his devotes. He keeps hiking and they keep buying.Not me! I have ethics and principles in buy/sell transactions. Oh,by the way,a donut cost about .12 to .17 cents to make.

I grew up on Spudnuts in Washington state. I was deprived of potato flour donuts until I found Allie's..... 50 years ago. I'd chain myself to the door if I could.

Allie's has now decided to skimp on toppings. Got chocolate covered donuts. You could barely see the frosting covering. So watery and thin. I'll never go back. RI bakeries have a much better product! I don't know why people rave about this hole in the wall!!!

Some people complain about everything.

The staff and donuts are second to none.

These are by FAR the best doughnuts ever! The place is small and has small town appeal. The doughnuts are always fresh, huge, perfectly sweet and so many great options. They are a cash only place, so be prepared. Always worth the wait and the price! A must have!

In my opinion Allies donuts are the best tasting donuts I've ever had ,unlike any other donut shop,the texture is light with that melt in your mouth experience absolutely love them and you can't beat the size.
