For over thirty years, I have cherished the Islander, where the familiar menu brings comfort and the food is consistently quick and delicious. The friendly staff always remembers our orders, enhancing the experience with their impeccable service. Each visit, whether for takeout, delivery, or dining in, feels like a special occasion, especially when indulging in favorites like the crab rangoon or the addictive Wor Hep Har.

lived up the street from The Islander for over 50 years, so my family and I have been there a lot, as well as ordered from there dozens & dozens of times. Was there again Wed, 1/22/20 about 5:30pm for take out.
Sad to say it, but in the past few years I have been more and more disappointed with the take out.
At times it seams old yesterdays leftovers, or it's sat at the bottom of a burning pot. And things like egg rolls, which use to be my favorite, they look, smell and taste like they've been cooked in old used cooking oil.
Quality of the food there really has suffered, and more and more I find myself throwing away half of the 50 dollars worth of food every time I go.
