On Friday nights during Lent, our group decided to try out Macray's in Tiverton for some delicious seafood. Despite the simple walk-up window setup in the winter, we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and tasty offerings. The cozy room to the right of the window might get a bit noisy, but the quality of the food, like the crispy onion rings and fresh shrimp, definitely makes up for it.

Went today for fried clams an clam cake...41.00...won't go again an was not the best I've had...prices like that they should stay closed

I just would like to point out these negative reviews are from 2015. I just had Macrays tonite everything was excellent. Fried clams were light and fluffy cooked perfect. My burger was also cooked perfect medium rare and it was huge. My kid devoured their clam cakes and chowder.

Got an order of fried clams.There were 5 clams in the box.Will never go back.

We have been regular customers since moving there four years ago. We usually order clamcakes from the window but last Saturday October 24th we went in and ordered the combo of fried clams and sea scallops. We were served remnants and small pieces of fried clams and bay scallops. The whole plate had a rust colored overdone shine. I asked the owner why we didn't get sea scallops and he said they were sea scallops and he cut them in half. They were tiny round bay scallops and the owner out right lied to us. He served us a plate of garbage and he knew it. We left there starving after spending twenty fours dollars. This was rather late Saturday evening and they were probably out of items but tells us that so we could chose something else. Also how often do you change the oil? The fries were inedible. I know he recognized us as we were there a lot. Never again, we are former customers. Don't waste your money.

Just went to mac ray's . Got a combo platter with scallops and clams. The worst scallops I ever had . Fries were soggy. The clams weren't to bad but I expected it to be better. When no one is there on Sunday afternoon I should of expected that it sucked. Ps I will never go back. Tom

wish you were open more then three days a week food is good need to exspand inside dinning need to come to fall river to deliver

I ordered a small and large fish & chip. I was going to only order just a small fish and split the fries from the large with my bf. so glad I didn't decide on that. When I got home, and Zi counted them, 14 fries in the large and 13 in ths small and there was not a difference of more than 1 inch between the two pieces of fish which are Obviously priced different than the other. I immediately called and informed the woman who answered. Her first response was "I I Zi don't know what you mean?" I mean you threw a handful of fries in both containers the sand size piece of fish and expect me to be okay with paying more for the same amount of good??? Her next response"we'll there isn't much difference between...silence" I reply "exactly ma'am you can't tell the diff between your small & large fish & chip and you just lost a customer for being honest thank you." She offered to replace ONLY the small Fish & Chip and I told her I wasn't sure if I wanted to even go pick that up!!! Awful 1st impression awful service and I have NEVER ordered fish & chips somewhere and the bottom wasn't covered in French fries!!!!!! Boooooooo hooooooooo
