10/02/2021 - Dianne
Best Greek Salad in the Valley. Loved the ice tea as well. Chicken and lamb really good as well.

Take out. We ordered lamb gyros - but were rudely told they didn't serve gyros for dinner. Not happy. Strange since it's on the online menu.
We really miss our favorite Mediterranean place in Sherman Oaks.

Instead we got something we "think" was pork on a stick with boiled potatoes on the side. It was so fatty, I couldn't eat it.
We really miss our favorite Mediterranean place in Sherman Oaks. We could get a lamb gyro there any time.
03/23/2021 - Not Worth It!
I do not get it why this place has 4 stars. Are people insane?! I do not recommend this place and we will never go back!
The food was expensive, the food was no where delicious, the woman that met us for seating was snobbish and rude, the waitress was okay, did not comeback regularly to refill our water and provide the check, and the location at the patio adjacent to the street was very noisy.
We love Greek food, we've been to Greece, loved the people, the islands, and food, but this place is no where being Greece at all.
My wife, son and I went on March 21st at about 5:00pm, and selected this because of the 4 Stars on YELP, and craving for real authentic Greek Food. What a disappointment!
We were greeted by the woman in the front, no smiles, no customer friendly greeting, and first thing she asked us if we had any reservation. It was a last minute decision we told her and therefore, we do not have a reservation. Then she replied, it's a Sunday you know and looked at us making it seem like that they were very busy but in turn they were not. Then she was showing us inside the dining area for our table and we asked if we could have the patio outside. Then she had a snobbish look and as if we inconvenient her. With an attitude, she looked into their reservations list, and told us that she can sit us in the patio but she told us that we will need to give the table back by 6:15pm. We told her it was okay because it should not take us long to eat. We were being nice but believe me I could have said something to her and left. But we were patient and gave it a try.
We ordered Beef Kabob with rice pilaf ($33), Chicken Kabob with rice pilaf ($24), an order of shrimp skewer ($17), and a baklava ($6). The chicken kabob (one skewer) was okay but still expensive, the beef kabob (one skewer with 4 pieces) was tough and did not have a taste on it. We had to add extra salt. The shrimp was a good size but did not have any taste. I could taste the burnt shrimp shell part but that's about it. I added butter and lemon but still not the same. The Baklava was about a good size but not for $6. It was not fresh and the bottom was hard and chewy.
We have been to many Greek restaurants in LA County and Orange County and this restaurant certainly does not have a value. We do not mind paying for an expensive dinner it has to taste good.
By about 6:00pm, the patio area and tables were still not even being half full. There were empty tables and chairs around. I am not sure why that snobbish woman had to tell us that we needed to give the table back in 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Oh, one more thing, the patio area near the street was awful because the cars driving by with regular and loud exhaust pipes can be heard readily in our table. We have to consistently pause our conversation to hear ourselves.
When we left at about 6:15pm, the patio area only had a few people sitting on the tables. The indoor dining area appeared to be full.
Our total for two dinner plates, an entree of shrimp and a desert including a very small tip was $90. This is even without any alcohol drinks. Ridiculous!
In summary, save your money, go to a fast food Greek restaurant instead, do not believe the 4 Stars at YELP, and watch out for the snobbish and rude woman in the front!
