Loved Bob's Airport Cafe, the people working there was genuine, courteous and friendly. Now the place has been changed to Bobby A's and the food is good, not great, but they have a really great idea about the portions you can order. Unfortunately, the service has substantially diminished since its opening. On my first visit, I was surprised that it had changed, and the service and the food were very good, they even allowed us to order breakfast even though they said they had stopped serving it at 11:00. I was so impressed with the operations that I wanted to take my husband to enjoy the breakfast there. We arrived there and were immediately seated, given coffee and water, and then were told we would get menus when they were available. We eventually asked for menus and then sat for another 35 minutes. No one ever came to take our order, then when a waitress asked if she could take the menus, we told her that we had not been waited on. She said she would send someone over to take our order, no one ever came. A party of four arrived about 40 minutes after we had and was already receiving their food and we still had not ordered. I finally left $4.00 on the table for our coffee and left. We then went to IHOP to have breakfast which only took 15 minutes to be seated, served drinks, ordered our food, and served within 10 minutes of ordering. Would I recommend going to Bobby A's? I'm going to say, the food is good there, but not so good that waiting over 40 minutes is worth it. If you have all day and enjoy being ignored, by all means. In this persons opinion, the staff needs to do what it takes to get the job done, stop worrying about whose station it is, and just take the order. . . you might just get a great tip from it.
