This place is awesome

This place is the greatest. I just celebrated my engagement party here on 11/17/2012. I could not have asked for more. They went above and beyond what I was expecting. Even the owners were on site making sure everything was perfect. We had a party of 40 and everyone was ranting and raving about the food and service. I could not express how much I appreciated all the staff at GraPow. If you have never been here then this is a MUST go even if you live far away. You will not find a friendlier staff and greater food elsewhere........

we loved it! the food was delicious! it was fresh, well seasoned, piping hot, and served within reasonable time, and the portion size was more than enough for one person. the atmosphere was casual and inviting. the overall feel of the place was warm, welcoming, and relaxed. the staff were very friendly and efficient. we will definitely be back!!!

I work near this place, so I went in one night (8/12/10) after work for dinner. I ordered the spicy soup (I forget the name.)with chicken and the Pad Tai with beef. The soup came out first. The chicken in the broth was cut into thin wafers resembling wilted crackers. The broth was not very spicy and resembled canned tomato soup with lots of cilantro. The chicken was horrible--rubbery and fishing tasting. I abandoned the soup, hoping for better things from the pad tai.
The pad tai with beef came next. It was supposed to have crushed peanuts, which it did have on the side--about 1/4 teaspoon of them. The noodles were cooked okay, but not very flavorful, compared to other Thai places in the area. The beef, like the chicken, was atrocious--tough, stringy and overcooked. It was if they used boiled beef jerky.
The final insult came when I received my bill. Tacked on to the total was a 20% tip, which I neither authorized, nor intended to leave. I saw my waitress, twice: when she took my order and when she brought my check. My dishes were delivered by other staffers. And, to boot, she was very rude. There is no way I would have tipped this bimbo 20 percent.
Do yourselves a favor and avoid this dump. There are much better and more honest places in the area.
