This summer, I discovered a fantastic dining experience by the lake that offers a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere. The patio view overlooking Ontario Bay adds to the charm, and I've always enjoyed the delicious menu offerings, especially the Buffalo Chicken Empanadas and the unique cheeseburger tacos. Celebrating my mother's birthday there was wonderful, with excellent service from Andrea and a lively ambiance created by Anna and Tasha at the bar-I'm looking forward to returning!

It was my 65th birthday and i wanted to go somewhere special - where I knew the food was going to be good. I picked the old Pier 45 (one of my old favorites), the Jetty at the Port. When the Jetty first opened, we went and had a fabulous steak dinner. I had eaten there a 2nd time, early last year, and I had a good meal - another steak, but my partner was not overly thrilled with his meal. So, we decided to try Saturday "Steak" night this past weekend (11/10/18). To my surprise - the steak night was a flank steak served with salmon hash....I asked our wonderful waiter Todd to see if they had any real steaks that i could order. He asked the chef who told him that although they had steaks, they were frozen and that the flank steak was the option. Disappointedly, the rest of the menu offered so few tasty options, I ordered the smoked beef short ribs and my partner ordered the Grilled chicken Alfredo. Meal arrived fairly quickly, his alfredo was so bland he just pushed it around his plate and my ribs were burnt and dry.
I expressed my displeasure of the options and the food..and that we would not be returning.
I do have to say that our waiter was wonderful and the host for the evening was also great.
