Missing out on this dining experience would be a shame, as the atmosphere is inviting, and the service is exceptional. The fresh local ingredients shine in every dish, making for a memorable meal that I can't wait to enjoy again.

Had the misfortune to attend my niece's baby shower at Irish Rose yesterday afternoon. It was a TERRIBLE experience from the surly "owner" Mike to the inexperienced/overwhelmed waitstaff to the inedible food - and I do mean inedible. The "owner" Mike had "forgotten" the reservations for my nieces shower (despite a personal meeting, numerous emails and phone calls from the two ladies hosting the shower). When we all arrived and Mike realized his oversight, he made a brief apology and then told his waitstaff to deal with us and hid upstairs. He refused multiple requests from the shower hostesses to discuss our horrific food. Anyone interested in lukewarm, brown/gray greasy potato soup - minus the potatoes?? To make a long story short - Mike finally made an appearance - shouting profanity at the two ladies hosting the shower. Really profane to two women while the rest of us "grandma's" looked on!!? This is how he accepts accountability for his own oversight?? Unprofessional "owner"/manager, poor service and inedible food. I would never return and certainly would never recommend to anyone.

My friend and sister hosted my baby shower here. There were sooooo many issues!!!
-room was not ready for us
-owner booked us for the wrong weekend
-food took forever to appear
-food was cold
-I (the pregnant lady) was not served (they forgot to place my order)
-refills were few and far between
-plastic was in my friend's food AND her fork was dirty
When the bill came, it was more than the agreed upon price, when they asked to speak to the owner, he was unavailable. After a lengthy time of waiting to talk to a manager or owner, the owner came down the stairs (he'd been there the whole time!!!) and he was screaming. He told us to get out of the restaurant (because we didn't want to pay for the meals we sent back). As we were loading the car and leaving, the COPS showed up. REALLY?!? He called the cops on a group of sweet women with an average age of 45? There's no way this business will stay open much longer.
