I like the place and I believe their food is good and they are really trying. I want them to do well but I find the whole exterior and interior vibe incredibly distracting. I feel they also take take a little too much license with their menu descriptions that don't match what's on the plate. For example, the biscuits and gravy mention grilled onions. Not grilled onion gravy. When I see grilled onions on a menu I expect to see grilled onions on my plate. When I asked where the grilled onions were, they said they were in the gravy (invisibly). Grilled onion was an enticing difference maker attracting me to the biscuits and gravy but it was a real letdown. The taste was good but the description was a bit hyperbole. Their certain specials work 2 drinks each are only for mixed drinks and not beer and wine. Any specials that mention beer it's for beer most of us wouldn't order, no matter how cheap. I'm going to try their Prime Rib special and give them a try one or two more times so I hope they make it because they have good baseline. Just some refinements needed here and there.
