It the best Italian Restaurant in south county by far, CHARLIE was a dear friend of mine, lost is life in a plane crash traveling to MEXICO in the 60's ,I worked at PLACKE CHEVROLET which I purchased later from JACK MATHEWS, and CHARLIE was a dear friend of mine which was across the street to the entrance of THE HILL. We ate together many times at all the restaurants on the HILL.
There is not a time that I when eat at RICH and CHARLIES that all the memories come back to me regarding Charlie. The food that is served there is the best and you end up taking home the balance of food you ordered, and could not finished.
The bar is great with great bartenders, the prices are great along with the selection of food. Johnny Novotny

1 piece of manacoti on a 12 dollar take out order and had to pay extra for fries with my sandwich everywhere else comes with the sandwich.

Reading reviews I'm surprised. Ratings are not higher. There lunch menu is wonderful. The bread is delicious and hot. Unlimited salad .. Chicken Emil is delicious and you even gets side with it!!! Servers are very computing and friendly!!!
