I've never been disappointed. Fantastic food at reasonable prices.

Service has gone down hill! It took over an hour to get our food, wait staff did not check on us for even refilling if water while we waited for our food and the food was subpar (fatty meat, hard flour tortillas). In addition, some of the food items ordered were missing after the food was finally brought to the table. When we asked to speak to a manager regarding the service and food, we were told by the waitress there was no manager, just the owner and the owner was not there. After asking for a name and contact info for the owner, the waitress said she would provide us the information and left, not to be seen again. Later, another person came to our table dressed like the wait staff identifying themself as the restaurant owner. We explained that we saw four parties come in after us, be served and left while we waited the hour for our food. We further explained the issues with the food. The "owner" seemed disinterested in what we told her, gave excuses of not having enough staff and said she was then going to the back room to cry. We told her we just wanted her to know of our experience because there were multiple issues we had. Needless to say, we will never be going back and we DO NOT RECOMMEND Checo's on Dezavala in San Antonio, TX!
