After a long search for Mole enchiladas, I finally found them at Mague's Cafe, where the food bursts with flavor and the service feels like a warm embrace. The vibrant atmosphere, combined with reasonable prices and an array of delicious dishes, makes it a cherished destination that I can't wait to revisit.

Worst food we had on our trip. Would not even consider their "salsa" as salsa. Service was extremely slow even though we were only 2 of 3 smaller groups in there. Meat was gristly. Beans watery. Eight plates were full of uneaten food and they didn't ask if anything was wrong. Waiter bragged it was his family's restaurant but he couldn't give us a half order of queso. DISAPPOINTING.

Always absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! Everything we have had on the menu has been extremely tasty. The customer service is always superb. Best in town!

Twice a week, at a minimum, we eat at Magues. Best tortillas around this part of the state. Best breakfast tacos in Boerne and the greater San Antonio area. All the plates dished up as South Texas comfort food in the traditional San Antonio regional style. A family-owned business that is served by a hard-working family seeking to serve as many customers as quickly as possible so everyone gets a chance at the great tastes of Magues! Nothing fancy. Nothing cutesy. Just great tasting Tex-Mex food they way your grandmother and your friend's great-aunt used to cook it! Come early to get a seat. Dinner less crowded.

Magues customer service is not up to par making a togo order they were very rude and rushing me saying they were really busy so I need to hurry up and that they don't have time for me. They were very demanding and not what customer service should be like, I work in that field and wether going in to eat or calling in an order service should remain the same if you want return business.

This is a family owned business, very friendly and always ready to serve once you sit down. My husband and have been eating here for years especially on Wednesdays and the food still is incredible, if you are looking for great authentic Mexican food this is the place to go.

The restaurant charges for everything individually that goes on your plate! We asked for extra salsa ranchera, and it was $1.00 extra. The waitress was rude and made a comment as she poured our coffee, and I asked for eggs over medium, and they were cooked over easy. The waitress asked if I wanted more coffee. Because I had food in mouth, I simply placed the cup in front of her. She said "Well I guess that's yes." I informed her later that I had a mouthful and could not answer her. She immediately began to sing to the music on the radio and never stopped singing until we left. Oh and by the way, her voice is terrible!
