This restaurant is a cherished family favorite of ours for over 15 years, consistently serving amazing food and offering attentive service. The General Tso chicken and wonton soup are always delicious, and I appreciate the generous portions and friendly atmosphere that keeps us coming back.

What a bunch of odd reviews. Shang Hai is easily the best Chinese food restaurant in town. The waitstaff are exceptionally attentive and the food is delicious. If you hate the shrimp and peas, maybe you should pick the General Tso's Chicken which is a personal favorite of mine. The food is inexpensive and the portions are American-sized. You will run out of stomach before you run out of food.

Literally the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at. You would get better food from a TV dinner. My entree came out 10 minutes after my family's and was stone cold. The cashew shrimp had a mix of peas and carrots that looked like it came out of a can, and disgusting gelatinous sauce to match. No flavor whatsoever and gummy cold shrimp. I asked the waitress to switch out my food after the first gross bite, and she told me I would have to pay for another plate. Couldn't believe it especially when we were a table of 7 so the bill and tip would have been sizable. Don't eat here if you expect more than a Campbells level meal (actually I would have preferred canned soup to that mess).
