This charming restaurant by the lake has a new owner who has brought a fresh and hip vibe while maintaining its country charm. The view of the lake while enjoying a meal adds to the overall experience. The warm hospitality and delicious food make it a must-visit destination in Julian.

The weather was awful but the restaurant made the experience absolutely incredible! We had NO intention of cooking, and with the extensive all day menu we could eat breakfast/lunch and/or dinner hassle free. Our waitress Dolores made this experience extra special. She is legally blind but can see well enough to place the orders, clean up and give every one extra special service. Her joy of life and appreciation for what she can do made all of us extra grateful for what we had, no complaints. The food is outstanding and generous portions. Any extra requests were filled w/o hesitation, and we were craving french toast even though no one ordered it (saw someone else's) and she brought us some! 5 star!!

Enjoyed our lunch out on the Deck. Food was hot and tasty. Weather was perfect outside and the Hummingbirds were entertaining. Drove about 150 miles one way for lunch out at a new place for us. We turned down pie, but our Server showed up at our table with samples of Pie,on the house. Yum, we will be back.
