Delish!
02/28/2020 - Iggy Fedoroff
We have dinner at the Harmony Cafe regularly on Friday or Saturday at 6 PM and enjoy the piano stylings of world renowned jazz artist Charlie Shoemake and if we're very lucky Madison Scott or another jazz great will be in the house and perform at the piano as well. The typical dinner menu (it changes on a fairly regular basis) includes inventive appetizers, delicious seasonal salad creations, soup specials, wonderful pasta, and main course selections including meat and fish with fish being the chef's forte. Corkage is a very reasonable $10, but the wine selections are worth trying either by the glass or by the bottle. Giovanni's food preparation is perfectly seasoned and therefore no table condiments are necessary, nor available. What I like most about the Harmony Cafe is its laid back, quiet vibe and historic Cambria decor that hasn't changed since Jim and Olga Buckley ran the Pewter Plough Theatre. Oh, and the gelato and various house made desserts are definitely worth the calories!
