Having followed Santa Barbara County wines for decades, I have always had my favorite picks, with Au Bon Climat and Qupe being among them. Attending their open house event recently was truly enlightening and I was impressed by the philosophy and taste of the winemaker, Jim. The experience was not only enjoyable but also educational, and I left with a newfound appreciation for the excellent wines and values offered by the winery.
