Located near a popular breakfast spot in Solvang, this restaurant pleasantly surprised me with its quick service and delicious food. While the sign out front was a bit misleading about the menu, I left feeling satisfied with a full stomach. The Chilaquiles I tried were flavorful, though I felt the portion size was a bit small for the price. Overall, despite some minor shortcomings, the food was tasty and we enjoyed our experience.

We had two wonderful tours at VAFB and Solvang was like a second home for me. We always went to The Little Mermaid for their outstanding Danish open faced sandwiches. The roast beef, cucumbers and horseradish sandwich was my favorite. During those years, the same waitress always served us; we liked her a lot. I haven't been up there in several years and miss it. I hope it hasn't changed. Wonderful memories!
