Giannfrancos is my place to celebrate my birthday each year, coming from the South Bay (no short trek) but totally worth it. The owners are warm & welcoming (old country hospitality) and the food is beautifully presented & delicious. My husband who is northern Italian loves it as well.

Avoid this restaurant! Rude elderly lady who owns the restaurant will ruin your meal. The staff is unprofessional lacks the ability to run a restaurant successfully. The food is NOT excellent and can be good but, ruined by the staff's negative demeanor. However, the elderly lady and young Hispanic waiter(who pretends to be Italian) are simply rude. Visit Via Vai Trattoria in Montecito where the restaurant employees greet you with a smile and cook better quality/tasting Italian food. Avoid the rude employees at this restaurant and have a positive experience elsewhere.

The restaurant is in a small quaint city. Locals are the heart beat yet this is one of the single few restaurants that thrives on being exclusive for tourists that flood our treats. They are not inclusive to the community nor willing to serve curb side to it why should the community continue to support such a restaurant that isn't for the community and lacks the sense of culture

Perhaps the best restaurant in the central coast! Service, presentation, flavor, ambience, ... friendliness! Five stars and two thumbs way up!!!

Excellent Italian food. All four of us had different items and all of them were excellent. And then came the dessert options to die for. Lobster ravioli was simply delicious I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back

Truly great Italian food. Innovative, fresh, unique. Order the Ciao Bella! And the regular ragu was far from ordinary - I would call it incredible!

I love this place. It is elegant and the service is great. Anna and frank always greet us at the the door, and made us feel so welcome.

This restaurant is a great addition to Carpinteria.
The food is fabulous and Gianni is a very talented
chef. Anna & Frank make everyone who enters feel welcome and important. My sister and her
husband drive up from Camarillo just to have
dinner. They love it and I might add that there are
nice Italian restaurants in their neighborhood. It
speaks volumes that they would drive that far.
