The warm atmosphere and delicious food at this family-run Italian restaurant truly made my dining experience unforgettable. I enjoyed the chicken piccata, and my wife loved her crumbled sausage dish, both made from scratch and bursting with flavor. The owner even came over to discuss gluten-free options, showing how much they care about their customers, and I can't wait to return for another meal.

We had the cheese ball dinner it was delicious cheese balls melted in you mouth and spaghetti and sauce was very good ,salad was delicious too. I was very glad I ordered that meal and I will do it again.

Having a good Italian restaurant in a small former coal town like Carbondale is surprising. One would expect to find a place like Pettinato's in Little Italy NYC. My wife and I have been eating there since the 1960's. Not only is their food good but they do mixed drinks very well and have a fine wine list.
