Cote Ouest Bistro, newly risen from the COVID-19 ashes of Baker Street Bistro but with Chef Martin Sarraih now a co-owner, is pleasure Francese/Basquese incarnate!

Warm, attentive, welcoming service from the entire staff mates with newly elevated subtle & delicious flavoring and treatments of everything from the dressing on the "simple" green salad thru the exquisitely savory mussels preparation to classic but, again, newly elevated desserts such as the heavenly light, caramelly Ille Flotante . . . well, folks, it just doesn't get a lot better than this!

I have given 4 stars to less than 10 restaurants on Planet Earth. Congratulations to partners Laurent Monchicourt & Chef Sarraih -- in your tiny little Presidio-adjacent space, you have created an immensely welcoming & culinarily (whoo-HOO!!!) excellent corner of France to the delightful benefit of Bay Area natives and visitors. Thank you!
