Blackthorn holds a special place in my heart, as it's where my husband and I first met 8 years ago, and I cherish the memories made there, from celebrating New Years to watching World Cup games; the potential closing of this bar would be a loss to the SF community, and I am committed to not patronizing any new establishment that may take its place, urging McGrath Corporation to do right by allowing Blackthorn to continue thriving in its space.
