I had an awesome time at The Market, and the food was seriously delicious! The Salmon Quinoa & Baby Kale bowl that Lindsey suggested was fantastic, and the atmosphere there felt like hanging out with family.

Ever changing menu. I always order the Filet great cut and always perfect. Leave room for dessert, the Chocolate Peanut Butter Molton Cake is sinful.

I recently had the pleasure to dine at one of Shreveport’s best kept secrets. The name is the Market Restaurant, Norris Ferry Rd. The food was in a word “FABULOUS”. I had the Rainbow Trout. The Trout was lightly crusted, pan seared and served with fresh vegetables and new potatoes. The wine “Brancott Sauvignon Blanc”, accompanied the lemon butter sauce perfectly. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the “Whistle Stop Café” (Fried Green Tomatoes) but with a more refined feel. Karen Vanderkuy really knows the food industry well. She made me and my friends feel as if we were dinning in her home. I am so proud of the fact that we have a restaurant in Shreveport that can prepare elegant food but deliver on southern hospitality in the process. Thanks, Market Restaurant for a wonderful dinning experience.
