Stew has been cultivating his land for many years and transitioned from a Grower to a semi-producer, selling the majority of his fruit to local wineries while crafting his own diverse selection of wines. My experience with Lauterbach Cellars was memorable, as Stew and Barb provided insightful tastings straight from the barrels in their cozy wine room, highlighting their unique approach to winemaking rooted in their medical backgrounds. The wines, particularly the Pinot Noir and Syrah, showcase a complex yet refined style, and I appreciated their commitment to sustainable practices, making the visit both enjoyable and educational.
