Pay no attention to the menus pricing bc somone put up our menu from 2008 and prices have gone up.

Been eating here since they opened and before lbvs! Hands down the best and realest Italian food around here. Very dedicated to their business and always have. You have no idea. Best homemade soups I have ever had. And the meatball sub which I always get and never stray from is the best anywhere , you can't get a better meatball!! The best ppl for the best Italian food. Very grateful to have been able to enjoy it all my life.

Spaghetti with meatballs and small pizza with red peppers, banana peppers, and onion. The sauce on the Sketti is phenomenal! Pizza is delicious. And for being made fresh it came out very quickly. Definitely recommend for Italian food lovers!

Last Christmas, my boss asked me which restaurant I would like a gift card to. I told her to surprise me. She gave me one from Cosmos and Suzies! I was so excited. It was two gift certificates for Cosmos and suzies- I really liked that place back in the day. So I thought how perfect. But it is now September. And I have only been there once. And the time I went was ok, but the staff isn't great. The first time
I went there with a date and I was treating. We specifically went out on this date so I could use one of my certificates. And we walked in at six o'clock in a Saturday- during Covid- and asked for a table of two. They said if I didn't have a reservation then I wouldn't be able to get a table. So, we went back the next month. And I had a reservation. It was an ok meal. But these people are not business motivated. I have since gone in there two different times to use my second certificate to get a pizza for carry out- which they claim to do!! But both times I was turned away and told they were booked. I explained that I didn't want to dine in. I just wanted to carry out a pizza. It's the same when you call. So today is my last day. I have already called once to order a couple of pizzas. They said they wouldn't do it. So at this point in the game- they should just give me back the fifty dollars and I will go to an Italian restaurant that wants to sell me their food. It's such a disappointment. This Christmas, when my boss asks where I want my gift certificate for- I'm telling her anywhere but Cosmos and Suzies!!!!

This place is amazing! We have been going here for years. Susie greets you like family when you come in and Cosimo even sneaks out when he is not busy to say hi. My only regret is they don't have their specials on Grubhub. Try the Mostacioli G when you go there. You will never order anything but from then on!

Gini & I have eaten at Cosimo & Susie's many times since moving into the South Bend area 5 yrs. ago. Their sauces - both meat and non-meat - are wonderful! Susie's Italian dressing is, of course, handmade - simply the best ... so dellcious & good for you that she sells it in wine cruets (we bought 2, recently). One of our favorite dishes: baked fettuccine. Like Cosimo says, "We are a slow food, not fast food restaurante". They take extra time with their tasty & nutritious preparation of all their menu items. They do have a daily special menu which offers some of their most popular choices a bit quicker.

Cosmo and Susie's has been good in the past but this visit was terrible the pizza had no taste and the salads were put together with bare hands no gloves I thought was very unsanitary

Walked in. Was rudely asked "u gotta reservation?" When we said no the hostess helped the people that came in behind us. There were plenty of open tables only three couples in the whole place. Looked over the menu, tried to ask a question and got ignored. Walked out.

The person who said the food was too salty must have been HIGHLY sensitive. I watch my sodium intake. I can TELL if food is too salty at a restaurant. I have never had the high blood pressure response to "too salty" food at Cosimo and Susie's. Their food is simply WONDERFUL! This is my favorite Italian restaurant in the area. They don't fry ANYTHING. it is all grilled or baked.(Unlike most Italian joints around here.) I have NEVER been disappointed with the Mosticioili al Forno, Eggplant Parmesan or Pizza. This place is tasty. Awesome, and deserves a visit. Sincerely, former NYC resident who knows a bit about Italian food.
