My cousin and I were traveling from Florida and stopped in. Never been there before. It was The best BBQ I had ever eaten. The chicken the slaw the fried orca were delicious and the sauce. We will be back. We loved it.

Last time we had the take out (oct.9th) the plates were good. The stew was mostly water, not good. Today we had the take out the brisket was good the ribs were tough and not good. I wanted a chicken plate but they decided to not do chicken this weekend. Service was good. What is going on with Pendleton Smoking Pig?

When the restaurant first opened I asked if the slaw and potato salad was made in house and I was told they were. The current slaw and potato salad are not the same as when the restaurant first opened. Neither the slaw or the potato salad is as good. The slaw and potato salad taste like what I have previously purchased from the Sam’s Club in Anderson. The owner has sacrificed quality in order to make more money. I will not return to the Smokin Pig.
The Circle M Barbecue on the Liberty Highway has always produced quality food and their standards have not changed in order to make more money. I will in the future get my barbecue from Circle M.

We went and ordered the chop chicken plates thinking there would be a good bit of food for almost $10 a plate. .......well we were fooled! There was very little chicken and about 15 fries. We will not be back! A big waste of money!

Went twice to this place and I did not care for the barbeque, it tasted like I was eating the salt shaker, they use to much salt in their rub so therefore the meat is very salty. Even useing the sauces does not cover the saltyness.

Absolutely amazing awesome food and awesome service if you have to wait don't worry it is well worth the wait and the food is wonderful the ribs and brisket melt in your mouth enjoy yall

Outstanding! In the top 2 or 3 BBQ shacks in the Upsate of SC if not #1. The pulled pork sandwich is outstanding (try it with cole slaw on top) and the sweet potato crunch is 'the bomb'! Give it a try -- they DON OT serve disappointment!!
