Asked to substitute shrimp in place of chicken on the quesadillas.
I picked up order and couldn't wait to eat.
I found approximately 3 shrimp cut in half and melted cheese (cold).
NO lettuce, tomato, onions, peppers, etc.
The good news is it only cost me almost $17.00
Nope- I won't be back. And to think I persuaded a co-worker to have the same lunch as me. Shame on me.

We live in rock hill and prior to Covid, we have always preferred the York location over our local wing king. This means we drive about 25 miles round trip as opposed to 5. Not sure what has happened- new cooks, owners, equipment, etc.- but since opening back up, we've only had one good hot meal and that was because we told our waitress our food had been cold on previous visits.
After today, we give up. Our chicken was cold, as well as onion rings. When they took it back I think they must have stuck it under the broiler because it was overcooked- nothing but a tough piece of chicken. In the past when we've sent French fries back, I think they were put back in the fryer. Not sure how that even passes a health inspection code.
Anyway, we'll go back to rock hill location from now on. After the poor food we've had at the York location since they've reopened, I'm sure our local one will be much better.
Our waitress was very apologetic and frustrated as well, but obviously the cooks and management could care less. Either get cooks that take some pride in their jobs, or train the ones you have on how to serve hot food or dock their pay and don't charge for the cold food they are serving.
Our experience today was awful-

I drive all the way from Charlotte regularly to enjoy the Wing King in York, SC. Can't beat the value. It's definitely worth the drive. It's nice also to experience the old town feel of downtown York, and slow the pace down a bit. Take a walk down memory lane along the high street. The wait and bar staff are all very friendly and attentive. I had the smoked wings for the first time just yesterday and they where absolutely delicious. If you'd like a day outing from the city it's worth the Drive. It's a "simple" place to be enjoyed for its value and great wings etc.
