Blue Ocean is a favorite spot for my husband and me - we make the drive just for their delicious food and quick service. The shrimp on rice and seafood sampler were both amazing, and the staff was so friendly during our visit. We had a peaceful time catching up and enjoying our meal, and we'll definitely be returning when we travel in the future.

excellent service, friendly people, the best seafood anywhere. The best is it is reasonably priced.
we drive 255 miles one way a couple times a month to enjoy their seafood.

We have eaten here twice as we traveled to our vacation destination.
Both times were exceptional.
Service is outstanding and the food is delicious.

The food was good the waitress did good until we got our ticket to pay for our meal she had put extra $2.99 on there and didn't tell me at the beginning then when I ask her about it she was giving all kind of excuses .

My church group comes once a month for birthdays. We always have a group of 20. They do great on big parties. We always have a great server. They give free potatoes wedges for our group. The hushpuppies are always hot. The manager always make sure we get the back room. It is a wonderful place to go. They have great specials on Tuesday thru Thursday. The grilled chicken and baby shrimp is always good. Everything is great. We love it.

My family comes here every week. The food is great. The servers are always nice. I get the salmon and it is cooked to perfection. The hushpuppies are very good. The restaurant is so clean. The manager always make sure my father gets his senior discount. On Sunday they offer 10% discount with church bulletin. This is a great place to eat. I have never been disappointed.

I was disappointed with the way the Manager, Debbie, spoke to me upon a legitimate complaint. She was overly rude, refused to listen to me and kept repeating the same chant. My table was cleared before I was finished eating and her chant was you want me to bring you out more food. Then another waitress said if I was to get up and go to the bathroom I should tell my wait person. Like being in grade school. I paid my check then left. After thinking of how I was treated I went back to get the owner information. Debbie was at the register and in a rude manner told me the owners number and then said "I need you to leave." Needless to say I will never go back to this restaurant or any of the their other establishments. I called the manager the next day and he said he would talk with Debbie and call me back after lunch. He never called me back. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
food and clientele are low class to lower middle class and the manager is a prime example. There were lots of grossly over weight people the who looked as though a bath and dress should be the next order for the day. Over priced food for the quality.

My family loves loves loves this restaurant. We live in Newberry, Greenville, Myrtle Beach and Florida --- and swear it is the best seafood we have ever eaten !!!! The food is always piping hot and the service is very good - usually receive our order within 15 minutes of being seated. Sometimes our orders may be missing a salad, or get a baked potato instead of a sweet potato -- nothing major and with the large volume of people they serve and the fast turn around time we are more than willing to accept a few mishaps.
Great family oriented place!!!!!

Many of my family live in Laurens county and we have our annual reunion there. For many years we've spent one of those days at this restaurant! I come from Charleston,S.C. and this is my favorite seafood restaurant!

I have had several very good experiences at Blue Ocean in Clinton, SC. However, my experience Feb. 23, 2013 was very poor. We were seated all the way in the back corner even though there were plenty of tables closer to the front door. Our waiter, Forrest, got my order wrong. I ordered a cup of clam chowder and got a bowl. I ordered a salad and got it after reminding him of order when meal was brought. I ordered grilled shrimp skewers and got broiled shrimp. Forrest also made very unnecessary rude comments about how much coffee we were drinking. Forrest was a bad experience. Don't care if I ever go back.

We live in Columbia, SC. When we crave seafood we always head to Blue Ocean in Clinton, SC. Nothing in Columbia compares to the excellent food and service we get at Blue Ocean. The price of all their food is extremely reasonable and yummmmmy!!

this is totally the best restaurant I have eaten at in my whole life!!!! I live in Colorado but go to this place in Clinton S Carolina every time I got o South Carolina.OMGOSH I LOVE this place, wish we had them out west!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes we have a large group but never under 5 people.....excellent service and food and everything!!!

Our group has been coming to Blue Ocean for the last 5 years. We always have 30 to 35 people. We come every 2 months. Sometimes we make reservations and sometimes come unexpected. The manager and her staff have always taken good care of us. The food is hot and fresh. The salads are so good. Everything is perfect. We all apreciate it very much.

My family (15) met at your restaurant today for a gathering as your place is about equal travel for each of us. The service was very poor-Food not served as should have -5 did not receive salads as should have.Some of us were finished eating before others got therr food. I know we had a large group, but your employees should be prepared for this. Thank You
