Everything was great except I got a high priced steak and it was terrible!

Two weeks ago we ate there and were sadly disappointed. The filets we ordered were tasteless, not seasoned whatsoever. Cooked a nice medium as ordered, but no flavor whatsoever. The french fries were cooked in old grease, the mushrooms which were supposed to be sautéed on the steak were cold. Not just cold, but never touched a pan or were in any way sautéed or seasoned. The broccoli casserole also was bland.
We had a short wait to be seated, even though there were open tables. I suppose the staff needed time to catch up. The service was slow, we ran out of tea a couple of times and yet we could hear the staff in the kitchen talking, just being loud, sounded like horseplay going on. We like fine food and will pay a fair price. This $100+ was a waste.
