We used to drive an hour to go to this bbq buffet and then it closed because of manager's illness. Soooo sad! Then today we discovered they reopened! Yay! Same delicious food but we had to get takeout. Much better to eat in when it is hot and fresh...fried chicken, pork bbq, fish, shrimp, rice and hash, to die for Mac and cheese and a bunch of other yummy sides. Top it off with the nanner pudding and your tummy will love you!

I would to say Goodland is my all time favorite resturant. I have never been disappointed. I even love those sweet greens here in the south its okay to add some sugar to your greens. I love all there dishes as a matter of fact head there now.

This is the best bbq I have had in a long time. Everything is perfectly prepared.

And to "Don Ross" you gave them 1 star just because a single menu item isn't to your standards? Your ability to review anything is novice at best.

Best BBQ & Hash. Great fried chicken and well-seasoned vegetables. I drive 45 miles just to eat there while passing other BBQ restaurants.

Best fried chicken in the state. Generally, food is wonderful with the exception of sweetened turnip greens. Nobody likes sugar in greens???
