My daughter brought me by today.(she has been a few times before). I found the ambiance/atmosphere and decor delightful!!
The service was great! I found the menu to be an excellent mix of food choices. We got the ham balls
And an order of the bacon. Excellent!!
I got the pimento burger. Cooked to perfection and topped with BACON!! My daughters Chicken and Grits Bowl! Another Great Choice!! No room for dessert so we got fried pies to go... Loved them TOO!! Thanks for a job Well Done...

This place defies all logic. In the middle of no where you can get an upscale breakfast or lunch prepared by hand from a professionally trained husband and wife team. You also go back to the way South Carolina used to be and still should be. I live 75 miles away but anytime I'm headed in that vicinity, I make sure I stop by at Grits & Groceries.

If you just want eggs and a meat forget it and the cheapest item on the Saturday brunch menu is $8.50.
