We visited Ridge Spring to explore the antique shops and decided to have lunch at Juniper, where I enjoyed a crab cake sandwich that was bursting with flavor. The friendly service and inviting atmosphere made our meal even more enjoyable, and I can't wait to return for more delicious dishes.

We absolutely LOVE Juniper! Have never had anything we did not like. The food and atmosphere are wonderful....from a nice dinner on the weekend, to lunch during the week or Sunday brunch!! Worth the drive! You will not be disappointed:) (few favs....corn chowder, club sandwich, brunch on Sunday, chicken n dumplings and Mediterranean salad)!

my husband insist we eat here but i am beginning to not want to eat here.corn chowder we took home 2-6-15 wasn't fit to eat.one cup was clabbered and couldn't eat it.the other had so much salt it could choke you to death.ate triple decker club and just gobs of mayo on it. meat just slapped on it.in the past 6 weeks i've only had one decent sandwich..we've bought cookies that were so hard they would break your teeth.made a complaint and i feel should have received money back but nothing was done.if it wasn't for the one thing my husband likes to eat there, we wouldn't go back.

we ate there on 2/10/12 service was okay. when i asked about sunday brunch waitress was not very forth coming with info. shrimp and grits should have been alot warmer and i am still looking for the shrimp small and few at best while chowder was good not so sure i will drive again to eat here.

I absolutely LOVE this place!! The service is great, and it's much different than anything else you can eat in the entire CSRA. The night we ate there, over half the menu items had come from within thirty miles of the restauraunt. They're a great addition to this beautiful little southern town, and I would suggest it to anyone looking for a great meal and unique dining experience.

regularly drive from Augusta to Ridge Spring
just for the corn chowder..family owned with professionally trained chef...concept of this place in rural Ridge Spring defies logic
try this place for lunch and shop in the quaint antique shops or make a reservation for dinner

Wife and I, along with two grandsons and daughter had lunch last Saturday(7/25/2009). Wonderful service, with never ending tea, in Mason jars. The young boys aren't noted for enjoying soup, BUT, they devoured the corn chowder. Had to get a repeat order before the sandwich's arrived. Looking forward to another visit, for the corn chowder alone.

Juniper is an excellent change from the norm. The drive is not long from anywhere in the CSRA or Columbia area and, per the menu we saw, they support alot of the local farms. You can tell the owners love what they do and we'll definitely come back for dinner and will also come try the Sunday brunch. The service was excellent and the town of Ridge Spring was quaint and inviting.

Great food, helpful staff. We left it up to the chef to choose our meal, we were not disappointed. Everything we had was delicious. The atmosphere is very unique. We enjoyed looking at the hanging art.
I understand the menu changes with the seasons.
We are looking forward to another visit soon.
