The food here is truly exceptional, just like the comfort dishes I grew up on. The fried chicken and fish are out of this world, and the collard greens have a perfect hint of sweetness. While the menu may be limited, the delicious meals served at this cozy country cafe make it the best dining spot in town.

Seafood good but needs to be cooked a little longer. Mine wasn't cooked long enough. It wasn't raw but would have tasted better if it had been cooked fully done. The price is right and the portion of food you get was very nice.

Went to the restaurant at 6:30pm the buffet was offered as well as the food on the menu, however I choose the buffet and the food was cold I didn't complain because I'm.not one to do that, but blvery disappointed to say the least

My son and I are in Europe. I called Randy at Mickey's from Rome to set up a meal for my youngest daughter, her family and friends for Sunday, who are visiting our place in Jefferson for the weekend. Mickey's is our go to place for a home cooked buffet meal on Sunday's when we are in the area. Randy lined it up with no problem. Great customer service, some of the best food in the Carolinas and really fine down home atmosphere - you just can't beat it!
