I have never witnessed more terrible service and even worse employee attitude than I consistently find at Palmetto Subs in Darlington. It seemed like they were doing a favor to allow me to come in and place an order. The subs are good, but this service issue is the supreme deal breaker.
D&S Subs in Hartsville is a 15 minute ride for me from Darlington, but I am willing to go there based on great food and friendly customer service.

The service was awful today! Only two employees were working the wait to go inside was extremely long! I observed one employee outside around the building coughing! She did wash her hands when inside but NEITHER employee were wearing face masks during this time I thought was very unprofessional
