I made my first visit to Stefano's Italian restaurant in south Florence. I ordered the Italian sub, cold. That's the way its made up north...cold. I must say, it was the best Italian sub I've had in many years. It's made the way REAL Italian subs are supposed to be made, with vinegar and oil! Not like those southernized Italian subs with a "special" honey mustard sauce! PUKE!
I will definitely be making many return visits. Thank you Stefano's for doin' it right!!
PS. I've only given 4 stars because it was my very first visit. If you're consistent, that rating will go up!

Always great food. Love the hot grinders, Pizzas, and pasta dishes. They know us by name and I can't forget the garlic bread with olive oil.

Every time Ive gone here I've been impressed. The eggplant parm and the lasagne dip are amazing!

Awful food. Ordered 100 wings and was so dry couldn't eat most of them. Quality has gone down hill

Ordered a Specialty pizza off the menu, one of the three available. The description "smothered in cheese" was no joke--the pizza was just one big gob of cheese with chicken thrown in for good measure. Had a few slices, left, pitched teh pizza after another go at it from home.

Terrible bartender, Watered down or shorted. Either way the service is the worst. The kid behind the bar of this class eatery sports HICKIES on his neck while serving you. Just what I want to see when eating. The Food is two thumbs up but the bartender outweighs the good.
