All three of my stars go to the bartender. This little girl is AMAZING!! Place is packed out, after a wait and no hostess, she comes from behind the bar and apologizes. She has two seats on the other side Of the bar to offer until a table comes available.never have we seen such chaos! As she is getting us situated a gentleman is next tomy husband and he is tapping his glass on the bar. She politely excuses herself and the guy goes on a rant about not seeing his waiter in 20 min, she apologize to him and gets him a drink and tells him it's on the house. She gets our menus and GREAT drinks explains the kitchen is backed up due to a party upstairs and a full dining room.we order an appetizer and watch as more chaos begins.
A guy across the bar who has clearly barged between customers is asking to see a manager, she runs up these stairs and is gone for just a few. When she returns she is behind us passing out food to a table, the table is upset that the kitchen has messed up their order. She apologizes and the lady is upset with the bartender because their drinks they ordered haven't been brought by their waiter either. She goes back upstairs with two plates returns to bar and is making a bunch of drinks, she brings drinks to this table and tells them that the plates are being fixed. When behind bar again we place our order. A line has formed at the bar and is multiple people complaining about the service outside. She is trying to calm them down and figure out a solution. A guy across the bar yells to them and replies if you want real service you have to sit at the bar in this place, we choose to stay at the bar now. This little firecracker behind the bar is attending to a full bar, from watching her all over she has tables as well, she up and down the stairs making all the drinks, and with no help. Drinks made for waiters/waitresses are sitting on the bar but not being picked up.35 min later our appetizer makes it way to us. Not very good, but we were not going to be complainer because she was fielding enough from very one in the place. She was so busy and on point with her tables and helping others with their tables. Where is te management? An hour later our food came (mediocre at that), but she is still at it with drink making, people demanding her attention for things tht were out of her control. She had small talk inbetween tasks and explained that they were understaffed that night and ensures others leaving to please come back. The faces and mean things that were said to her during our visit- unbelievable! I have never seen such chaos in a place but she kept up with us, and handled everything so well. She could use some help but says she is the only bartender and sometimes has to take tables as well. I don't know how she stay so positive and energetic when this is happening. We stayed until closing that night just because she was so entertaining and we were on a date. Let me just this she obviously is the only reason to go back to this place!!
