Went 3x after they opened. Found breakfast to be expensive both in $ and in time to be served. We don't like beer-battered fried fish so that was out. Tried lunch -- slow service, again. Wonderfully redone inside, just not for us food and cost-wise.

Showed up waited 5 minutes, host says they're really busy and tables are dirty and need to be clean. Wasn't even that busy. So we left.

Their dinner menu is to die for, the prime rib special on Saturday's is absolutely perfectly cooked rare/medium rare and has the best seasoning I have ever had, just mouth watering thinking about it. The servers also do a great job and super friendly.

I love taco Tuesday, I am not sure why, maybe because of my ethnic background! By far the best taco's in CNY. Such an incredible menu for dinner, I don't even know why they call the restaurant a diner, this place is way better than any "diner" I've ever been to.

My Wife and I went to the Traveling Gnome, for her birthday dinner. We were there during Polish month, so i had the gulumpkies and peroggies, my wife had the stuffed mushrooms. We found the food to be just like my Mom used to make, and including the portion size. The place is immaculate. The servers are friendly and cheerful. The desserts are heavenly and made from quality ingredients! All are made from scratch on the premises. The owners are wonderful people bringing a quality place to stop at when we venture south from Watertown NY. We sampled the doughnut holes, and also the deep fried cookie dough, and also took a slice of carrot cake to go. Excellent place to eat !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
