Never better
05/02/2024 - Robert T.
I have been a loyal customer at CJ's Seafood for years, drawn in by their consistently fresh and perfectly cooked seafood offerings. The prices at CJ's Seafood are always reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food you receive. Every visit to CJ's Seafood leaves me impressed and satisfied, with their delectable seafood dishes always exceeding my expectations.

really great food!! tried almost everything haven't gotten less then great food yet! wish they were open more days, one of the really best things is the fact they use a different batter for different items - no short cuts! and their fries are old fashion real cut potato's none of those mashed potato fries with the icky texture that some of the fish places have now!

Parking could be better and they ONLY do cash and are ONLY open on friday. Even still 100% worth it. The only cash-only place I will go to. The only place I will eat seafood from.
You walk in and wait in line. While in line or before you wait you can grab soda, condiment cups, or salads of varying sizes. There is a robust menu of fried goods, all fried in peanut oil. There are a few seasonal items like clam chowder or a few items that are limited like frog legs that you just have to ask for. They also have items like fried beans you might miss if you don't pay attention. There is a way to ask for uncooked non-breaded fish or Pollock to cook at your home, you just have to ask. They have (of items I remember ordering) Clams, Scallops, Mozz sticks, Fries, breaded Haddock of varying sizes, a fish sandwich (ask for hotsauce! so good!), breaded shrimp, and a few more items we never order (not because they don't look amazing, but because we can only eat so much in one sitting in my household! lol.)
After you place your order it only takes a handful of minutes to get your hot food and then pay. In total maybe 5-10 minutes on an average semi busy day, with the busiest being maybe a 10-15 minute wait.
I ate here growing up at least once a month. I have tried a lot of other seafood places and nothing really comes close. When the owner changes I will try them again, and if I don't like it I will update my review. As of now this is the only seafood for me.
